Soustons lakes
Soustons is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and by lakes. The region's lakes are located in a unique setting where nature is omnipresent, between fine sand dunes and pine forests. We advise you to go to the shores of Lac Marin, which will surprise you with its islet in the middle of the water. Beautiful walks and supervised beaches can be found at Lac Marin. Do not miss the Pointe des Vergnes, which will offer you a remarkable view of the whole region. The ponds a little further away and less touristy are the Pinsolle pond, the White pond and the Hardy pond, small preserved corners of paradise. On the lakes of the region, you will practice nautical activities.
The golf courses of the region
To work on your swing or train on the driving range, amateurs and true enthusiasts can meet on the greens of the various regional golf courses. Soustons has a golf course with a 9-hole course. A little further, you will find 18-hole golf courses at Hossegor, Seignosse, Moliets and Biarritz.
The beautiful walks
At Domaine Baruteau, we will be at your disposal to suggest the itinerary on foot or by bike that will best suit your desires for escape and discovery. Surrounded by nature, you can go hiking, cycling or mountain biking. The Landes are known for the many cycle paths.
The Etang Noir Nature Reserve
In 20 minutes, you will be at the heart of the Etang Noir Nature Reserve in Seignosse. During a walk, you will discover a swampy and luxuriant forest which will remind you of the mangrove. This enchanting setting is an invitation to walks, to take photos and to rest, in absolute calm.
